We extend a warm welcome to you and we hope that you enjoy our close-knit board as much as we do. We look forward to hearing stories of your buns and their antics as well as seeing countless pictures of your fur-children.

Lagomorph Lounge is a bunch of bunny lovers from all over the world. We enjoy talking about our pet rabbits and whatever they are up to. We help each other by giving advice while trying to educate new or future bunny parents on how to properly care for their rabbits.

We have all come together with one goal in mind and that is to spread more knowledge that will keep our bunnies happy and healthy! We hope you share the same goal too!

The Moderators here are known as Bunnynators. We are here to moderate the board as well as help you with any problems you may experience.

As a member of the Lagomorph Lounge we expect everyone to follow the below established rules.

Section 1 - DECORUM IN THE FORUM

a) By becoming a member of the Lagomorph Lounge, you accept and acknowledge, you are solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to hold harmless this forum, and any related websites to this forum.

Section 2 - FLAMING – TROLLING:

a) Swearing, vulgar, defamatory, hateful, abusive, harassing, obscene, sexually oriented, invasive, threatening and personal attacks on members either in the open forum or by Personal Message posts are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

b) Please do not use Personal Messages to resolve personal issues. Any member who feels that they have been attacked in open forum or via Personal Message should resist the urge to respond. Instead we strongly encourage you to contact a Bunnynator through Personal Message with a copy of the Personal Message you received and we will handle the situation ASAP.

c) If you disagree with another member, respond to the subject of the main post, not the person who made the offending post. You must exercise courtesy and self-restraint in your posts in these situations.

d) Any and all complaints dealing with Flaming and Trolling shall be reported to a Bunnynator and the situation shall be handled according to the 3 Strike Rule.

e) A warning of such violation will be placed on the member’s account, which can be viewed under the member’s username on the open forum. The warning will be removed automatically after the allotted warning time period has expired. This warning shall be determined by the Bunnynators and shall remain a part of the member’s permanent record on the Lagormorph Lounge.

f) Any subsequent violations by the same identified offending member shall be dealt with according to the 3 Strike Rule. After receiving 3 warnings, you shall be banned permanently from the Lagomorph Lounge.

g) Members IP (Internet Provider) Numbers are recorded for the purpose of keeping track of the board posters identity. In the event a poster is identified as a problem member and is subsequently banned from the Lagormorph Lounge, no further membership from this individual will be accepted here now or in the future.

h) In the instance of severe violations, it shall be the sole discretion of the Bunnynators to handle the situation in the best manner seen fit in order to keep the flow of the Lagormorph Lounge intact.

Section 3 - VIOLATIONS:

(a) 1st Offense - Warning Meter will be activated for a period of 7 days

(b) 2nd Offense - Warning Meter will be activated for a period of 7 days along with a 5 day suspension of all posting privileges.

(c) 3rd Offense - No Warning Meter will be activated, the member will automatically be permanently banned from the Lagomorph Lounge.

Section 4 - PRIVACY OF MEMBERS:

a) No one shall reveal full names, mailing addresses or other information that is invasive of another member’s privacy without their permission.

b) In the event of legal action arising from any information posted by you on this forum, we reserve the right to reveal your identity to the proper authorities for legal recourse.

Section 5 - AGE REQUIREMENTS:

a) No one under the age of 13 years may hold membership to the Lagomorph Lounge.

Section 6 - ADULT CONTENT:

a) Since the Lagomorph Lounge is a community of people from different walks of life and various ages, adult content is strictly prohibited and will warrant an immediate Ban on your account. There will be no further explanations on the ban, nor will it be discussed for reconsideration.

Section 7 - MULTIPLE IDENTITIES OR ACCOUNTS:

a) Only one account will be issued per board member. There are no business accounts or joint accounts on the Lagomorph Lounge.

Section 8 - INDIVIDUAL SUB-BOARD RULES:

a) In addition to the rules posted here, our members are requested to abide by any individual sub-board rules, which are posted at the top of each specific sub-board in the Lagomorph Lounge. These additional rules are posted with a sticky at the top of each additional sub-board.

Section 9 - COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL:

a) No copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or you have consent from the owner of the copyrighted material shall be used all or in part unless a direct link to the source is used in the post.

Section 10 - OFF TOPIC POSTS:

a) Please try to keep your posts relevant to the particular thread. Sometimes topics become off topic and in order to keep the post flowing, the off topic post may be moved or removed from the thread at the Bunnynators discretion.

CONCLUSION:

All prospective members are required to go to the Guest Board and introduce yourself to our membership. Please be advised that you will not be able to use your registered name for posting until your membership has been approved.

We suggest you use the name you registered however you will need to add something to it such as an additional number or letter so that it will not be the same exact name you registered. If you do not do this, you will not be able to post on the Guest Board.

After we receive your consent to abide by the rules and completed answers to our questions, your request for membership will be considered for approval.

If your membership is not approved within 72 hours of the request, please post on the Guest Board that you have not received a response to your request and it will be handled immediately.
